Andrew Davis

Andrew Davis is Chief Business and Strategy officer at Convergent Therapeutics, where he leads corporate development, commercial and strategy for the company. Prior to Convergent Mr. Davis was the Chief Business Officer for Dynavax where he led strategy and business development including leading the ~$2B sale of Dynavax to Sanofi. Mr. Davis joined Dynavax in 2024 from Ironwood Pharmaceuticals where he served in roles of increasing responsibility, with his final role as Chief Business Officer. Before joining Ironwood, Mr. Davis served as the Chief Business Development and M&A officer at iNova Pharmaceuticals, leading all company transactions and acting as a member of the executive management team. Prior to iNova, Mr. Davis was head of Oncology business development for Merck. Before his time at Merck, Mr. Davis was at Bausch Health Companies (formerly Valeant Pharmaceuticals), where he held roles of increasing responsibility within the business development function, ultimately serving as Senior Vice President of business development and leading all transactions for the company, including the acquisitions of Salix Pharmaceuticals and Bausch + Lomb. Mr. Davis began his career as an analyst at McKinsey & Co., where his work focused on the healthcare space.

Mr. Davis serves on the board of directors of Vedanta Biosciences Inc. Previously Mr. Davis served on the board of directors of Utility Therapeutics Ltd. where he helped lead their sale to Alembic pharmaceuticals. Mr. Davis holds a B.A. in Economics from Boston University.
